Pretreatment

Pretreatment:

Subterranean termites live in soil. They require moisture to survive, and can dig hundreds of feet to reach feeding sites. Home Spectors are a liable and provide effective treatment solutions. Termite pretreatment is a critical step when building a new home. Pretreatment is the first line of defense against termites. With the right pretreatment the soil next to the foundation of a home is treated and is undisturbed after it is into place. Properly treated homes can resist termites for a much longer period of time. After the pretreatment and construction is completed the outside a perimeter treatment is performed

My Personal Experiences:
When doing a predry wall home inspection in Charlotte I discovered that the Pretreatment was done improperly before by another Home Inspector. Luckily the home owner contacted us to have an inspection done on their home. If we wouldn't have caught it in time, the walls would not have been able to be Pretreated properly.
