Jarrod Goforth is the founder of Home Spectors and began in the industry by way of termite inspections. Jarrod is a 3rd generation exterminator; his Grandfather started Goforth Exterminators in High Point, North Carolina. After training and working with inspector Brad Dean, a local contractor, Jarrod started performing home inspections in 1986 in Charlotte, Monroe NC, Gastonia NC, Mooresville NC, and Concord NC.

After a few years, the company grew to 5 home inspectors. Jarrod sold the pest control business and began performing home inspections full time. Inspector Jarrod found his calling: Providing peace of mind to home buyers.

Home Spectors was one of the first home inspection companies in the industry and has trained numerous home inspectors.
